Lincoln Financial Scholars Program Webinar Series

The Lincoln Financial Scholars Program is designed to nurture the potential of Scholars, while equipping them with the tools they need for a successful career that empowers them to make their unique and impactful marks on the world. Scholars gained a general understanding of foundational values in the areas of personal and professional development, and how each value contributes to the overall preparedness for the professional world. The recipient of the badge has completed the professional development series with various opportunities for exposure to professionals in a range of professions, including with the Lincoln Financial Group and reflection of professional competencies with a focus on professional and career development. Program Outcomes: 1. Analyze appearance and perception in group settings. 2. Identify how to work with people who have different work and interpersonal styles. 3. Analyze various ways individuals may process information in a professional setting. 4. Explore ways to develop your emotional intelligence​. 5. Explore different types of communication- verbal, non-verbal, written. 6. Demonstrating leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills, dependability, active listening, and critical thinking in the workplace. 7. Understand the general concept of networking and its importance in career development.  8. Gain knowledge on how to engage mentors to network for full-employment opportunities. 9. Recognize and capitalize on personal strengths to achieve goals.
